Dr. Kelsey Pottetti is a board-certified Doctor of Acupuncture and Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of New York. She holds a bachelor's degree from Stony Brook University and a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture, in Chinese and Japanese Styles. Kelsey obtained her doctoral degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS), which includes a strong emphasis on both integrative and functional health, with advanced applications in acupuncture.
Kelsey works with patients with varying conditions ranging from acute and chronic pain, sports and orthopedic medicine, digestive issues, autoimmune disorders, hormonal imbalance, neurological conditions, and fertility for both men and women, amongst many others. Kelsey has also completed additional specialized training in oncology care.
Kelsey specializes in Japanese-style acupuncture, which involves using very thin needles, with a gentle approach, suited for sensitive or hesitant patients around needles. Kelsey enjoys educating her patients on wellness and helping incorporate lifestyle changes and nutritional therapy to maximize treatment results. Kelsey also offers non-insertive techniques for those who want to explore East Asian Medicine at a slow pace.
Kelsey is passionate about health and believes in creating customized treatments to meet patient's individual wellness goals with the use of both traditional Chinese medical theory and modern diagnostic assessment. Kelsey is dedicated to guiding her patients to mind-body-spirit vitality and being a facilitator for radiant health. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, horseback riding and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
